Bill Lenaz has been in the Retail Real Estate industry for over 30 years. Serving primarily New Jersey he has great experience in Staten Island, Long Island, Nanuet and Westchester County, New York. Dealing exclusively with retailers, shopping centers and highway commercial real estate, he is known for been expertise, work ethic and credibility. Bill is a long standing member of ICSC.
Some of Bill’s many skills is his scope of knowledge in completing complex real estate development transactions, site planning and pre-leasing of planned new developments including leasing and economic feasibility. Bill has pre-leased over One Million Square foot of new shopping center development that included anchor tenants such as Whole Food, Toys R Us, Best Buy, PC Richard & Son, Home Depot, Lowes Home Improvement, Tractor Supply, Barnes & Noble, Aldi Market, Trader Joes, Bed Bath & Beyond, many others.
Given Bill’s strong familiarity with major highways and regional trade areas though out the NY Tri State area, he has completed hundreds of free standing highway retail transactions with free standing retailers and restaurants. Bill’s knowledge of details such as NJ’s liquor license laws allowed him to complete over 30 liquor based restaurant transactions including 18 Houlihan’s Restaurants, 14 Red Robin Restaurants and in during the pandemic of 2020-2021 completed 7 liquor based restaurant deals all in excess of 6,500 square feet.
During his career and presently Bill has represented and continues to represent some of the most soot after regional retail sites which includes multipole transactions with the nation’s most critical and finest retailers such as Lidl Market, Burlington Coat, HomeSense, Chic Fil A, Panera Bread, Starbuck’s, Home Depot, Barnes & Noble, Borders Books, PC Richard & Son, Trader Joes, Walgreen’s, Toys R Us, WaWa.
